Cardigan disaster
This wasn't a yarn disaster, but I made a cardigan for my daughter last year which was really quick and easy to knit up in Sirdar denim. It was lovely and I was really proud of it until Sophie tried it on and I discovered one sleeve was about 4 inches longer than the other one. It hung around in my knitting basket haunting me until yesterday when I decided as I was never going to get round to doing anything about it it was going in the bin. So its gone. I may try again, and I have learnt a very valuable lesson - keep checking your sleeve measurements!!!

Re: Cardigan disaster
Hi
Sorry to hear of your knitting 'disaster'. It is so disappointing when you have spent time knitting a garment to find something wrong with it. I knit the sleeves at the same time using two balls of wool to avoid mis matched sleeves.
